Reviews Summary

Wing Lei is celebrated for its exquisite fine dining experience, particularly its acclaimed Peking Duck and elegant atmosphere. While many praise the impeccable service and high-quality cuisine, some find the prices steep and certain dishes lacking the expected 'wow' factor. Overall, it's a top choice for special occasions and those seeking an elevated Chinese culinary journey.

"永利軒is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Las Vegas, everything was too perfection from the dining room decor to the service to the food and the plating. This is my second time eating at wing lei and I feel like the food has consistency, which is very important for a fine dining restaurant. I was impressed by their wine list and like that they gave out western desserts at the end of the meal. This is definitely a place to bring your date or have a nice fancy business dinner I would recommend it to everyone that is willing to splurge. Even though the menu said in order to get a tasting menu, the entire table has to get to tasting menu. The waiter was very nice to let us share one tasting menu and ordered à la carte."

Lucy

"This is the first time I've dined at a Michelin starred Chinese restaurant. To say it was incredible is an understatement. I don't have the words. Suffice to say every morsel was epic! The most incredible Chinese food I've ever experienced. We went with the Chef's tasting menu with wine pairing. It's easier to describe through my pics. I highly recommend that anyone who appreciates incredible food to try this! Instead of trying to decide from the menu you get an assortment of their best dishes."

Rob Masiello

"Absolutely recommend Wing Lei at the Wynn! My husband and I went for our anniversary dinner and the experience was amazing! Service is top notch- always refilling your water, checking on you, explaining dishes etc. They even give you a chair for your purse! We shared potstickers, sweet and sour chicken, general tso chicken and rice. Everything from the food, to the wine and desserts was superb!"

25 Best Restaurants in Las Vegas: Steakhouses, International Buffets, and More

This was the first Chinese restaurant in the United States to be awarded a Michelin star, and it's the only Forbes Travel Guide five-star Chinese restaurant in North America. It attracts a lot of Asian diners looking for an incredibly special event room, but also many special-occasion diners who want a high-end education in Cantonese, Szechuan, and Shanghainese flavors. Much like its surroundings, the food at Wing Lei is absolutely showstopping; the must-have dish is the Imperial Peking duck, which is carved tableside from a cart that was custom-made for the room.

If you're looking for a place to properly celebrate wins with your friends like “finally engaged after dropping hints for a year” or “getting a promotion because your boss finally realized they'd be lost without you,” come to Wing Lei. Part of the Wynn, this restaurant is perfect for parties who want to post up at large tables and carve into an imperial Peking duck tasting. Discuss the specifics of wedding venue hunting during rounds of peking duck salad, duck shu mai, duck fried rice, and more before you head out for whatever’s next on the itinerary.

Restaurants in Las Vegas

With all the panache of an Asian royal palace, this fine-dining restaurant serves some of the choicest Chinese food on the Strip. Chefs present contemporary French-inspired cuisine that blends the Cantonese, Shanghai, and Sichuan traditions. The decadent imperial Peking duck dinner, carved table-side, is a showstopper, but don't overlook options that could include fried prawns with candied walnuts and a kalamansi-honey sauce, garlic beef tenderloin with black-pepper sauce, or the amazing Three Cup Sea Bass with ginger-soy reduction.

Best Restaurants for Dim Sum and Dumplings in Las Vegas

If you prefer a fine-dining alternative to Red 8 at the Wynn, Wing Lei is one of the most acclaimed Chinese restaurants in Las Vegas. It earned a Michelin star (back in the days when Vegas was considered for that kind of stuff) and is currently the only Chinese restaurant in North America with a Forbes Five-Star rating. Executive chef Ming Yu's food represents a variety of regions—Cantonese, Szechuan, and more—inside an elegant dining room with high ceilings, golden tones, and windows that gaze out to mature pomegranate trees.

24 Best Restaurants on The Las Vegas Strip

With its elevated ceilings, gilded interiors, and an outdoor backdrop of a serene garden featuring a larger-than-life gold dragon, Wing Lei is what I would imagine a Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant at the Wynn to look like (but it seems only the Wing Lei in Macau is Michelin-rated). There’s even a sign enforcing a smart casual dress code at the front–which I appreciate–and online reviews show they actually turn you away if you wear sneakers or shorts. With all the fancy stuff noted, I need to state that I’d only come back to eat the Peking duck at Wing Lei (if I wanted to drop major cash).

Chinese Restaurants | Las Vegas

Located inside the multi-billion dollar Wynn Las Vegas Resort and Casino, Wing Lei offers an upscale, sit-down style Chinese dining experience that is a far cry from buffets and takeout. Executive Chef Richard Chen takes a fresh approach to Chinese cuisine by featuring traditional Chinese dishes that are flavored with non-Asian ingredients and prepared using a mix of Cantonese, Shanghai and Szechwan cooking styles. House specialties include crisp walnut prawn drenched in a sweet honey sauce, stir-fried black cod and spicy kung pao chicken.

9 Michelin Star Restaurants in Las Vegas and How Much They Cost

When Wing Lei was awarded its first Michelin star, no other Chinese restaurant in North America could claim that honor. But with dishes like wok-tossed sea cucumber, chilled abalone, and Japanese wagyu, Wing Lei isn’t your average late-night chow mein joint. Chef Ming Yu blends Cantonese, Shanghainese, and Szechuan traditions in his cuisine, but there’s one clear showstopper on the menu: the Imperial Peking Duck, which is carved tableside when ordered a la carte and is also the backbone of the restaurant’s two tasting menus.

Serving a combination of Cantonese, Shanghai and Szechuan flavors, while Wing Lei technically no longer has a Michelin star, it’s still regarded as undisputedly the best Chinese restaurant in Las Vegas.

Wing Lei is what happens when you have an unlimited budget and a fondness for Michelin-style food. It’s thoroughly modernized Chinese food, with foams and faux-dirt, which is not usually stuff I like (Steph has more of a tolerance for it than I do), but you can’t deny how great the room and service is. The service wasn’t stuffy and formal either, the staff were friendly, telling stories and joking with us.
