"We have been going to the Grill since the 70's. Not quite sure how we were going to like the food with new ownership since Martinez family retired and sold. Well....the food is different but absolutely delicious. We met new owner Mike he did say he kept the original owners sopapilla recipe. Was a very nice guy! Diane the waitress was a hoot. She definitely knew her stuff when letting us know we would enjoy the new food. Diane made everything was perfect and took great care of our group. Thanks for keeping the Robert Special it's a local favorite. Till next time :)"

"We went for pickup over Labor Day weekend, and the place was packed—definitely a popular spot! It’s tucked away from the town center, but parking was available, which made it convenient.
We tried the Carne Asada tacos (3 tacos) and Pollo a la Crema (2 tacos). Everything was delicious and flavorful. The real star, though, was the chips and salsa—the freshest, most vibrant salsa I’ve had outside of a home-made version.
Since it was a busy night, our order took quite a while to arrive, but the wait was worth . I’ll definitely come back to try more dishes next time I’m in the area."

Leadville Grill and Cantina is a revived local gem with deep roots, dating back to 1938, and it’s now in the hands of Miguel and Adriana, a husband-and-wife team with 50 years of combined restaurant experience. We stopped in for lunch and were blown away by the flavor—especially the chips and salsa, which were some of the best we’ve had outside of Texas. I had the stuffed beef sopapillas smothered with green chilis, and while they got a little soggy, the flavor was rich and well-seasoned.
