Reviews Summary

Andreas Keller offers an authentic German dining experience with a charming atmosphere and traditional dishes. While many praise the hearty portions and festive ambiance, some find the food occasionally bland or overpriced, and service can be inconsistent. Despite minor critiques, the overall sentiment leans positive, with many recommending it for its unique cultural feel and classic Bavarian flavors.

"Amazing food, I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Had dinner here with my girlfriend during our Leavenworth trip and we enjoyed everything we ordered.

The pretzels offered here are by far the best pretzels we've had. It may be unsalted but it still had great flavor and had a nice soft interior as opposed to bland and too chewy as other options. The alpine cheese sauce that you can choose to add for an additional price is chef's kiss

My girlfriend (who is a bit picky) ordered the Bavarian Beef Goulash and she loved it. She's never had anything like this before so her liking a new food is pretty huge. I had the Classic Pork Wiener Schnitzel and had no complaints whatsoever. Will be coming back."

Jonathan Lopez

"My family and I were served attentively, ate well, and were treated very kindly by the staff. Glad we choose to eat here in Leavenworth.

Lots of gluten free options and dairy free was made possible as well 😃👍

Thanks to our waitress Becky for a wonderful night."

Joseph Peacock

"The food was excellent. We had beef goulash, Cordon Bleu and sides of the potato salad and spaetzle.
We sat outside, which unfortunately the picnic tables were not that comfortable, but it is great for people watching and to enjoy that last days of summer weather.
The service was also excellent. The food was served quickly and a wonderful menu with a lot of selections, including German beer and desserts from the Ginger Bread House next door."

Merry "oompah" music bubbles out from marching accordion players at this festive, long-running restaurant, where the theme is "Germany without the Passport"; it adjoins two sister establishments, Mozart's Steakhouse and Gingerbread Factory bakery. Laughing crowds lap up strong, cold brews and feast on a selection of wursts—bratwurst, knackwurst, and weisswurst, among others—Polish sausage and beef goulash, all nestled into heaping sides of sauerkraut, tangy German potato salad, and thick, dark rye bread. Service can be slow at times, so just sit back and enjoy the ambience.

Dating back to 1989, the cozy basement on Front Street remembers a time when Leavenworth's Bavarian schtick was pretty new and not a guaranteed hit. Feeling like the inside of a beer barrel—in a good way—the curved wooden walls hug diners as much as the cozy comfort food. This is a menu of schnitzel and spätzle, where notes point out that they make the sauerkraut with white wine instead of vinegar, potato salad without mayo.
