Leesburg Public House is the brain child of Mark Marrocco, former chef at Magnolia’s at the Mill, and Dogfish head alums Kim Ross and Marty Ryan. Housed in the “cursed” restaurant building in the shopping center off of Fort Evans Road—the one with Walmart and IHOP— where past restaurants didn’t make it, Leesburg Public House appears to have broken the curse. Leesburg Public House is serving up classic American pub grub with a spin in a cozy, sports bar setting.

In 1905, the building that Magnolias calls home was built to provide local farmers seed for corn, wheat, other grains, and orchard grass. Nearly a century after construction, the mill was renovated into its present-day, fan-favorite restaurant.

Located in an 1899 mill that was moved to its current site in 1985, the restaurant features a bar in the front and a more formal dining room in the back.
