What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Fox Meadows Creamery is a highly-loved spot, praised for its exceptionally creamy and flavorful homemade ice cream, especially unique offerings like the Baked Fox. Diners also appreciate the quality of their lunch options and the charming, family-friendly atmosphere with views of farmland. While incredibly popular, leading to busy periods, the efficient staff generally manages the crowds well.
"This was our first time here and we will likely be back. The atmosphere is a little overwhelming and you can tell this place is popular. The large parking lot was full. We came about an hour before closing- a dark weekend evening and the line was long. They had plenty of staff so the line travels fast. The checkout area was a little confusing as people spread and they just call out the item instead of an order number so anyone could grab the food. Staff were young and friendly. They allow sampling of the ice cream flavors. There is also a nice food variety for lunch that we would like to try. We got a Medium (3 scoop) waffle bowl with mint chocolate chip ice cream and Large cookies & cream milkshake. We also got cookies & cream and Brookie Dough containers to go which were delicious. The ice cream is smooth and creamy. They had a variety of items for sale that the lines spins through- pretzels, snacks, stickers, accessories, knick knacks, keychains, etc."

"Fox Meadow creamery has become my favorite place for ice cream and all of Pennsylvania. Today I had a cold with dirt. The mango sticky rice is incredible peanut butter pie is divine. I like anything with the peanut butter and a lavender and vanilla. The trick is to come here when it’s not busy. Because, when it’s busy, it is next level busy."

"We're now arranging all our Lancaster trips around this ice-cream spot. :) We LOVE it here. The smell of the homemade waffle cones fills the store, the ice-cream is delicious (particularly the baked fox), and the seating area and gift shop are immaculate and inviting. There's a nice little playground outside with some outdoor seating as well. We live almost an hour away and still manage to be frequent customers. Highly recommend!"
