We recently made a Thursday night reservation at Table 28, the upscale, yet unpretentious Little Rock restaurant that’s located in the basement of The Burgundy Hotel. It had been a full year since my last visit, thanks in large part to a global pandemic and me forgoing all dining-in, so I was excited to finally see what Chef Scott Rains and his crew had in store.

Sourcing organic produce from Arkansas farmers, chef Scott Rains has created a flavorful menu of modern American cuisine with a Southern flair. Dishes like seared duck served atop Arkansas rice and Rabbit Ridge Farms Chicken Breast Parmigiana will delight your palate. The restaurant is conveniently located inside The Burgundy Hotel in west Little Rock.

We featured this well-established restaurant, sitting within the Burgundy Hotel in West Little Rock, not so long ago for its great farm-to-table ethos.
