What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Trio's Restaurant is consistently praised for its excellent New American cuisine, featuring creative dishes and seasonal specials. Diners frequently highlight signature items like the shrimp enchiladas and the highly anticipated strawberry shortcake. While the food and friendly service receive high marks, some reviews mention minor issues with side dish seasoning.
"I finally made it to this spot after living in Little Rock for over 11 years—and wow, what a treat! My coworkers and I headed there for lunch, and thank goodness one of them made reservations because this place fills up FAST during lunchtime.
We were greeted warmly by the hostess and seated promptly, setting the tone for a fantastic meal. Our server? A total gem—energetic, engaging, and made the whole experience even better (sadly, I didn’t catch his name!).
Now, onto the food. Shrimp enchiladas? A+—so delicious! My coworkers also got the hot crab dip and practically licked the plate clean, so I’ll take their word that it was amazing. Dessert was a hit too—a couple of them ordered the strawberry shortcake and were happily slurping away like kids in a candy store.
Overall, a top-tier dining experience! I’ll definitely be back—this time with the hubby. Pro tip: Make reservations if you’re heading there for lunch during the week—it gets packed, and we saw plenty of people waiting for a table!"

"The chicken enchiladas were delicious and were topped with a flavorful sauce. Guac on top was a nice touch too. I didn’t care for the cheese on the rice, it had solidified by the time it reached our table and didn’t really go well with the rice. I would’ve preferred no cheese at all or a cheese sauce instead. If I were to get that again, I would definitely ask for no cheese on the rice. The black beans lacked flavor and needed more seasoning. I didn’t get to try their strawberry shortcakes because it’s only served during summer but I hear it’s amazing! I’ll definitely be back to try that!"

"This restaurant was awesome! My favorite thing was the service which one of the waiters was very kind, humorous, and helpful as he told me the perfect place to park by the river. The waiter was also very kind to my son (look on kid friendliness). The food was delicious and I got to try some very unusual but tasty food, so thanks to the chef and the amazing waiter was Gary. Thanks for the delightful food, service, and atmosphere. I really recommend their strawberry cream pie. Thanks again to Gary, keep up the laughing and happiness! PS I’m the kid ;) XD"
