"This is my first time back to cattleman since they closed Newark location. I live 5 minutes away from the steakhouse in Union landing and I'll tell you what, this place will not disappoint. Their dining room is extremely large and it's very clean with very friendly staff. We had our server. Anthony, he was the best, very attentive and personal to all of his tables and doing so quickly. It was also my fiance's first time at cattleman's he helped her Have a great experience and my father hasn't been since Newark as well, she's already talking about coming back. Our food was cooked just right and very feeling and with a lot of flavor. I had the prime rib at its presentation with the steam and the hot plate was awesome. I will definitely go back to this location. I am in a wheelchair and there is plenty of space between each table. I have no problems zipping around, especially unlike other places that are so tight or you need to ask someone to move anywhere you go. As I said, even though the other steakhouse in Union landing is only 5 minutes away. Kudos to the Cattleman Livermore team"

"Here visiting while conducting military training and this restaurant was recommended to us. It's pretty spacious inside and they take reservations for bigger parties. They have a nice size bar also. We received complimentary sour dough bread, which was pretty amazing, and served nice and warm. Two of us ordered steak, which was cooked medium rare but was still pretty tough to cut and chew and was lacking flavor/seasoning. Unfortunately, the meal didn't sit right in either of our bellys. The broccoli and cauliflower were served nearly raw, but the potatoes were good. The rack of lamb was good, but the rice was a little on the hard side. I had the salmon, which also lacked flavor, and had to drench it in AL sauce. The sweet potato was still a little raw on the inside, but the pecan/walnut butter was good. Maybe tonight was an off night. However, our waitress Sophia was very patient, nice, helpful, and professional in helping us!"

"Country music and cold food.Tyler was a great server who was on a constant roll . Kitchen and bar need to catch up with the superlative service.Local beer was great but no more than one glass left.. No mushrooms .. Soft drink was stale. Please clean your soft drinks machine and table sauce lids.Five stars for the sourdough bread which is a rarity these days.
Dessert should be served with a small spoon.Steak was decent but warmed up not freshly made."
