Reviews Summary
Dancing Fox Winery & Brewery is praised for its historic ambiance, friendly staff, and a wide selection of wines and beers, with many highlighting the delicious house-made breads and unique dishes. However, some diners have found the food to be inconsistent and overpriced, with particular criticism leveled at pizzas and certain dishes.
"Upon entering, we were greeted by a big smile and friendly helpful service. Everyone working here seems to be happy to be here. We got a complementary wine tasting with our lunch where we were told the story behind the place. We are so happy we came here! We ordered the focaccia bread basket as an appetizer. Apparently, the wife who has taken baking classes in France does all of the pastries and breads! The ficaccia was amazing! We ordered a veggie wrap with french fries which was also really good. All in all I would recommend this place.
Edit: while eating my wrap I realized that the tortilla is homemade!! Drool soooo yummyyy"

"I came here for their Sunday brunch. The food was great. The service was amazing and the champagne mimosas were very strong. Can’t ask for much more."
Shaun Joy
"Great place for beer sampling, focaccia bread, vegan pasta, fried shrimp, and fish and chips. The pasta, focaccia bread, tartar sauce, balsamic vinegar, and other items are made from scratch at the restaurant. Everything we tried was so tasty! Plus, the vegan pasta dish was so flavorful with balanced flavors, it put Bay Area vegan dishes to shame. I just can’t believe how awesome Dancing Fox Winery & Brewery is!"

Near the Lodi water tower on Locust St., wine lovers of today can stroll through the historic Olde Ice House, which once provided ice of all shapes and sizes to both consumers and the fruit and vegetable industries of Lodi (particularly crucial during Prohibition, when almost all of Lodi's grape crop was sent across country to home winemakers in ice-chilled train cars). The building's cork-cored, 1-ft.-thick walls now contribute to the energy efficiency of present-day owners, Dancing Fox Winery, as well as houses a Downtown Lodi tasting room for Jessie's Grove Winery:
