What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Gralehaus is lauded for its delicious and inventive seasonal menu, with highlights like the 'ugly frittata' and creative crepes. Diners praise the cozy ambiance of the historic Victorian home and the quality of their craft coffee and beer selection. While many enjoy the food and atmosphere, some mention that ordering at the bar can be less conventional, and the parking situation can be challenging during peak times.
"YUM!!! My party of 6 came for brunch and sat outside immediately. Our waiter was very welcoming and helpful to explain the ordering process. They make most things in-house. The food was DELICIOUS! We all got different things and we’re all impressed! Great service, great food.
The tables outback are picnic table-style."

"Was in Louisville for the weekend and had Gralehaus bookmarked so decided to check it out. There was already a lineup when I got there which was a few minutes before it opened. It was busy inside but the decor was cute and cozy. They also had outdoor seating but it was a bit chilly for outside.
Staff was really nice and friendly. I had to wait a bit for the food to come out and it was a good portion size for the price. It tasted fresh. I had leftovers too.
Overall, not a bad spot but not sure if I would wait (good thing I wasn't that hungry yet!)"

"Stumbled upon this place while visiting from out of town, and unfortunately it’s my new favorite brunch spot full stop. The food was amazing, staff were friendly, and the coffee was quality (and I’m a coffee snob)! I was loving the comfortable and thoughtfully curated ambiance - the seating area was somewhat small but that made it feel fun and lively - though that also means it might be tough to visit with a larger group size. We liked it so much we came back the next day! A must visit next time I’m in the area."

I’ve stayed in their Bed & Breakfast before, but you do need to email in advance to check what’s on their menu because it can change quite often. The brewery attached, Holy Grale used to not use peanuts, but over the past few years they have consistently had peanut ingredients in a sauce on the menu, so I’ve avoided going recently.
