What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Dahlia is celebrated for its classic American and Southern-inspired fare, with many highlighting the excellent seafood, particularly the fish tacos and fish and chips. Diners often praise the cozy atmosphere, especially the downstairs cellar. However, some reviews mention inconsistent service and occasional issues with food temperature or preparation, suggesting an unpredictable dining experience despite the generally high quality of ingredients and flavors.
"My mother wanted a good beer battered fish fry for her 87th birthday so we took her to The Dahlia. It did not disappoint! The best fish fry around by far! My dad said "Wow, even the tarter sauce is good!" (He's a bit picky about these things!) We also had the bread pudding for dessert and it was delicious!! She has decided she wants to go there every year on her birthday now. We ate downstairs and found it very cozy. They were pretty busy so it took about 30 minutes to get our food, but it was worth the wait."

"The atmosphere was perfect for a laid back date night in our stay in lynchburg. We did get a few drinks, fried pickles (that were amazing), dinner of course, and two desserts to go! Our server Alexis was awesome and made incredible margaritas!!!"
Victoria Hurd
"Absolutely loved everything. The New York Whiskey sour might have been the most delicious cocktail of my life. I am remiss not remembering our server's name, but they were so helpful and friendly."
