While many praise the delicious appetizers, signature dishes like shrimp & grits, and friendly service, some diners find certain entrees to be average or lacking flavor. "We started our dinner with the best crab cake I've ever had. I got the crab boil and my wife had the Cajun pasta. My wife had a Hurricane with her meal. For dessert we got funnel cake fries. The overall meal was fantastic. Five stars.

"My Shrimp and Grits were fantastic. Fresh shrimp, cheese grits, and flavorful andouille sausage. It is an award winner as stated on menu. My spouse's dish was Vege Gumbo with shrimp. It was over filled with rice and the overall flavor was pale.
The interior has character. It is a little dark inside. The exterior has a seating area, but around the corner, people were smoking in multiple forms and we choose to eat inside instead."

"I have to say most restaurants you come in right before they are closed and in some way the quality or service is normally off but not this place. Service was friendly and ready to serve. The food…. Wonderful. Even 30min before closing everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. Everything was seasoned very well and made us excited to come back for brunch. Thank you to the staff front and back of house!"
