Eno Vino – This downtown restaurant and wine bar specializes in small plates and has the best view in Madison, as it is located on the 10th floor of the AC Hotel. We had a phenomenal view of the Capitol building from our table. Some of my favorite dishes were the cheese board (you can’t be in Wisconsin and not get a cheese board, right?!), calamari fries, lamb meatballs, and the truffled fries.

At both Eno Vino locations, you can “un-wine-d” with Merienda Hour, a Spanish tradition of a light snack and refreshment. For drinks, get $1 off signature cocktails or $2 off glasses of wine. First off, Eno Vino has the view is the best view in Madtown. It overlooks the gorgeous Capital building, plus Lake Monona which distracts you from how much food (and drinks) you end up consuming. The drink menu is unique with their own flare on the classics.

Visiting this bar is definitely one of the best date ideas in Madison. What makes this place special is the incredible view you can get of the capitol building of Madison. Because of this view, going here is one of the most romantic things to do in Madison.
