A visit to Malibu won’t be complete if you didn’t get an ice cream from Le Cafe de la Plage. But aside from ice cream, they have desserts, pastries, coffee, refreshers and a lot of others things too! It’s literally a one stop shop for snacking while you’re on your break from swimming on the beach or driving around the area. #foodie #food #desserts #pastries #cafe #malibu #california #foodtiktok

Reviews Summary

Le Cafe de la Plage offers a delightful European-style cafe experience with highly praised coffee and artisanal ice cream. Diners enjoy the charming ambiance and fresh ingredients, though some note that food preparation can be slow and service occasionally lacks attentiveness. The beautiful setting and unique flavors make it a popular spot, but be prepared for potential waits.

"Very cute coffee shop located in a shopping plaza off of Pacific Coast Highway. The coffees were very good and the avocado toast was great as well. We liked it so much we decided to come back the next day for breakfast. We again were not disappointed. The coffee was again fantastic and I ordered an omelet this time around which was very good and fresh. There is ample seating located outside to sit and relax while you enjoy your meal."

Edward Blazejewski

"Their kitchen takes a while to prepare food, so if you are on the go, no time to wait for a bowl etc. the drink was good. But the metal cap on a plastic glass is not great for the environment."

Naoko N.

"European style coffee shop with French pastries and outdoor seatings. For more, follow our instagram @gemislist"

Organic ingredients and hyper-seasonal flavors are the name of the game at this ice cream parlor, which also serves as a coffee bar with pastries, salads and sandwiches, too. And while the quiches and croissants and lattes are a draw in and of themselves, the real reason to visit Le Cafe is the small-batch ice cream, available in cups or cones or milkshakes or macaron sandwiches and in flavors such as lemon, ginger and mint; caramelized almond and salted butter; anise; blueberry banana; and all the classics—with a number of vegan options, too.
