Reviews Summary

Casablanca Restaurant offers a highly-rated Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dining experience with many praising the authentic flavors and friendly service. While some reviewers note a decline in quality or changes over time, the signature dishes like lamb shank, shawarma, and falafel continue to draw praise, as does their unique Moroccan tea. The dog-friendly patio and family-friendly atmosphere also contribute to a positive dining experience for many.

"We got Casablanca to cater our wedding. They were incredibly easy to work with, the food was delicious, and the portions were extremely generous. Our guests absolutely loved it and were coming up to me all night to ask where we got it from. I know everyone talks about how great of a restaurant they are (very deserved) but their catering rocks too."

Zach Mitchell

"If the platter with the lamb shank (bone in) is always served this moist and tender, I will come back here multiple times a month. I give the lamb shank 5 stars. The seasoning that it was braised in was awesome. Very worth trying.
Other dishes we tried were about 3-4 stars for this type of food, but we will be back for the lamb shank again and to see what other surprises are on the menu.

Menu prices are very fair!

Oh make sure to try the tea! So freshing and relaxing."

Brent

"Casablanca has outstanding food! I am always delighted with every dish I have ordered. I especially love their Chicken Shawarma, Hummus, Warm Pita, and spicy sauce."

Casablanca is a Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurant with two locations in Midtown and East Memphis. It’s perhaps as famous for itsMoroccan tea as any of the food — at any temperature and any time of year, the tea is perfect for washing down falafel, Egyptian hawawshi, or pita “french fries,” all of which are made even better by their homemade hot sauces. Pho Binh is a simple and deceptively good Vietnamese restaurant in Midtown best known for the lemongrass tofu that even carnivores can appreciate.
