The bar area -- located inside an old lock and key company -- is quite small with only a handful of tables. Most of the seating is outdoors on Loflin's massive covered patio, which overlooks a manmade waterfall that runs into the Gayoso Bayou. There's also a huge green space (hence the name Loflin Yard) for lounging, playing with kids, doing yoga, and a barn out back for concerts and special events.

Loflin Yard is a sprawling outdoor bar and restaurant in downtown Memphis. Once the home of downtown’s carriage fleet, there is a barn where bands now play live music. There are two lawns with rocking chairs, lawn games (including axe throwing) and bonfires.

When in the Memphis area, be sure to visit Loflin Yard, an incredibly unique restaurant and bar space that features a huge outdoor area and multiple buildings on property. Walk into the Coach House where you can enjoy the full-service bar and porch with rocking chairs. Wander over to the Safe House to grab a bite to eat and peruse the wide selection of bottle-aged cocktails and the wine wall; drink and dine indoors or grab a bottle and enjoy it on the attached deck overlooking Loflin Falls, a beautiful onsite waterfall and creek.

Located in a renovated space that used to be home to a lock-and-key company, this cozy bar serves up barrel-aged drinks carefully crafted from classic recipes. Although the indoor portion of Loflin Yard is tiny, there’s an expansive outdoor seating area complete with a massive covered patio that overlooks a man-made waterfall running into the Gayoso Bayou, complete with cornhole, giant Jenga, and plenty of other outdoor games.

Downtown, there’s South Main, a thriving arts community with galleries, stores, distilleries, and buzz-worthy restaurants, as well as recreational spaces like Loflin Yard. In Overton Square, you’ll find theater companies, restaurants, bars, and clubs, while just down the road in Cooper-Young you’ve got fine dining and dive bars. And that’s not to mention up-and-coming one-offs like Broad Avenue or Crosstown Concourse.

Loflin Yard — The former grounds of the Loflin Safe & Lock Co. have been transformed into a gorgeous bar and venue that may as well be the Bluff City’s newest, smallest park — just with High Cotton and Wiseacre on tap and local music legends on stage. If you’re looking for a great outdoor space to enjoy a meal and a drink, Loflin Yard has a relaxed atmosphere in downtown, Railgarten is located in an old rail station in midtown, and Brookhaven Pub & Grill in East Memphis features live music on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. Silky O’Sullivan’s Pub, on historic Beale Street, has been a Memphis hotspot since the 70s.

In the heart of downtown Memphis, Loflin Yard does food, drinks, and outdoor dining well. The expansive outdoor space is the perfect spot to relax and have a drink, and they offer a seasonal rotation of frozen drinks. (Stay updated through their social media!) Currently, they are offering frosé and their Electric Lemonade, a frozen blueberry vodka cocktail.

Loflin Yard — Outdoor bar with lots of lounging space, firepits, corn hole, and volleyball nets. They offer Beyond Beef and Beyond Sausage as substitutes on a number of dishes, including the sausage po'boy, tacos, nachos, and the sausage/cheese plate. They do not have vegan cheese, but you can ask them to leave cheese off any dish.

Our own Jennifer Biggs aptly wrote that bar/restaurant/outdoor hangout spot Loflin Yard is "like being in France and Texas at the same time." Located on West Carolina Ave. in the up-and-coming South Main neighborhood, it's the perfect place to post up in a lawnchair, enjoy a few beers and even catch some live music on the weekends.

While this establishment is technically a bar, restaurant, and event space, it seems more like an oasis in the heart of downtown. The space is broken up into multiple areas with three dog-friendly sections. The "backyard" is a great spot to hang out with a bottle of wine and watch the trains go by with your pup.

We are suckers for restaurants with green space, and with an acre of it, trying Loflin Yard was high on our list. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to eat there during our weekend in Memphis. Loflin Yard – From wings to barbecue to sandwiches and a wonderful charcuterie tray, they have some great food and a wonderful venue space!. They have picnic tables, covered areas, indoor and outside areas, and are super family, kid and pet friendly. They also have live music on some nights.

A Memphis foodie friend suggested we try Railgarten and Loflin Yard for trendy, modern restaurants with spacious outdoor seating. Another Memphis friend recommended the original Central BBQ on — what else?. — Central Avenue for some classic Memphis barbeque.

This is a restaurant and bar, formerly the home of the carriage fleet offers both indoor and outdoor space. Outside, there are seating areas with brightly colored Adirondack chairs covered by sun sails. If you’re up to it, try your hand at Cornhole.

Loflin Yard might be your favorite weekend hangout and it can be your wedding venue too!. This place has taken Downtown Memphis over by storm. It is such a fun place to gather and spend time with people outside with great food and drinks.
