Besides the chain stores and gas stations there are few chicken restaurants. This might be the top one, neck and neck with Gus’s. Well worth the drive. Uncle Lou was out in the dining area telling stories and checking on customers. I’d come back in a heartbeat."

"Start of by saying I did go to his new location. Me and my driving partner loved the 4 piece white meat with the regular sauce and 12 wings. The Mac and cheese was a little to sweet for me and never really had it like that. The biscuits were hot and fluffy but a little bit more honey would of been better. Toast was done perfectly and order of fries were seasoned. The Cole slaw tasted great and the cookies where fire. The lady offered free refills from your table and service was fast. Bathrooms were in working conditions but could fix it up a little more to make it look really nice. Location was right off Winchester only a few miles from airport. Not a huge fan of Chicken but I would definitely go back and eat what I had and try some new items. Family friendly and enough seats to fill.about 40 to 50 people. They did win an award 3 times from DDD for best cooked Chicken."

"Stopped by here based on Guy's visit and review while visiting Memphis. The location is great and nice on the inside. The customer service by the team was also commendable.
The food is cooked to order so it's hot. We tried the chicken with the sauce on the side. The chicken was hot and good. I'd prefer a little more batter and egg wash (coming from Louisiana) but their method is fine too. The sauce is definitely unique. A good balance between sweet and heat."
