Reviews Summary

Brasa Premium Rotisserie is lauded for its consistently delicious and flavorful comfort food, particularly its rotisserie chicken and pulled pork, complemented by a casual, welcoming atmosphere. While many praise the quality ingredients and generous portions, some find the pricing slightly high and have noted occasional dry chicken or frustration with QR code ordering.

"Finally writing a review for the E Hennepin Ave location. I’ve been going here for a few years and consistency is really important to me. Every time I go the service and the food have been great. The food comes out delicious and hot. Also the portions are consistent too. You know what you’re getting and it’s never disappointing. If you have any issues they will correct it without push back. Unlike some places where they’ll argue with you. No place is perfect, but know it’s a great place overall."

"Brasa catered our wedding on 5/25/25 and I am BLOWN AWAY. We are long time fans of their food, all they way back to when my husband's grandmother would order it for family gatherings. Lots of our friends are also long time fans so we knew it would be a hit. But man was it a HIT. Everything was so delicious and even the most critical of our relatives raved. Not only that but their catering staff packaged up individual meals for my husband and me for the day after our wedding and gifted is a bottle of champagne. AND we got to do a free tasting to decide what to serve and had such a fun date night and absolutely stuffed ourselves. I cannot recommend these guys and their phenomenal food enough."

"One of our family favorites whenever we go through Minneapolis! The food is always fantastic, authentic & fresh!!!
I always go with a BOWL! I recommend the smothered chicken (it's so moist) or the pork bowl! Everytime we go I buy a hot vinegar to take home as well. Brasa would easily be a 5 star place but the recent move to QR code orders is a bit frustrating."

Minneapolis' Best Restaurants

In 2007, Restaurant Alma chef Alex Roberts opened Brasa — a casual, family-friendly rotisserie joint focused on fresh, local ingredients. Inspired by the Latin American and Carribean hole-in-the-walls Roberts used to frequent with his fellow line cooks when he worked for Danny Meyer and David Bouley, Brasa is consistently delicious and affordable. Don’t be afraid to over-order on slow roasted pork, candied yams, rice and pigeon peas, and collards with smoked chicken – they're even better the next day.
