What Travellers Say

Reviews Summary

Milkjam Creamery is lauded for its exceptionally inventive and delicious ice cream flavors, with many praising the unique combinations and quality. While the price point is noted as being on the higher side, most agree the taste and experience are worth the splurge. Some reviews mention slow service for sundaes and occasional inconsistency, but the friendly staff and broad appeal, including vegan and gluten-free options, make it a must-visit spot.

"It was a great experience. I love the riding dourtttty ice cream and so did my baby girl. The staff was friendly and nice. I liked that they were trying to interact with her by handing her the taste spoon and asking her does she like sprinkles. We would definitely go back. I love great customer service and am always happy when staff make my little person feel like she has say so to in some decision making."

Nay Ehmyra

"Awesome ice cream joint, they have vegan gluten free nut free delicious bomb coconut flake ice cream! Also vegan black caramel! Always a delight!"

Dustin Gray

"I like artisanal ice cream as much as anyone, but this place has some flaws. First the pros: good tasting ice cream, unusual and original flavors.

Now the cons: #1, the sundaes take a really long time to make - like 2+min per sundae - so be prepared to wait A LONGGGG TIME if you’re behind or with people getting them (they put WAY too many toppings on, like let the ice cream flavor speak for itself). #2, the prices are high: $7.5 / single scoop in cone, $11.5 / 2 scoop in waffle cone - these are “really hot date or work is paying for this” prices. I know we’re in Minneapolis and all, but still, that’s at least $1.50 over conceivably reasonable. #3, the waffle cone was mushy (or got so really fast) and started falling apart - poor structural integrity there. #4, the goat yogurt “Uma” flavor melted much quicker than the roasted strawberry (possibly what mushed the cone) - they should put the faster melting flavors on top or re-engineer their products or cooling methods. #5, it’s summer and I strongly feel more fruity varieties were needed.

Summary:
Taste: 5/5
Cone: 2/5
Variety: 3/5
Speed: 1/5
Consistency: 3/5
Price range: high

Would definitely try again, but only if it’s a really hot date or work is paying for it."
