Reviews Summary

Giliberto's Mexican Taco Shop is praised for its generous portions of authentic Mexican dishes and fast service, making it a favorite for locals and visitors alike. Many highlight the delicious carne asada, chimichangas, and various tacos. However, some find the food bland and overpriced for the quality, with one reviewer noting the meat lacked seasoning.

"We love Gilberto’s! We look forward to it whenever we’re in Moab. Our favorites: civeche tostada, carne asada, chicken tacos, chorizo taco, texano burrito. Portions are generous, flavor is excellent, food is delivered fast!"

Sara Christensen

"Some of the best food we ate in Moab was right here. We spent lots of money on other places and had meh service and meh meals. I won’t name names, but some places should be ashamed. Giliberto’s was close and convenient. They have a drive thru and indoor or patio seating. Priced right and plenty of food."

Five Dogs Ranch

"I don't get why this place has such good reviews. This is some of the blandest food I've ever had, especially for Mexican food. The marinated chicken looked and tasted unappealing and gross. The beans tasted like they were out of a can, and not even a good brand. Everything is way too expensive for what it is. $14 for what you could get at Taco Bell for less than $5, and it doesn't taste at all better. I felt queasy as soon as I left the restaurant. I guess if you like flavorless food for too much money, you might like it here."

How to Spend Two Days in Moab Visiting Arches and Canyonlands

We drove to Devils Garden area to hike to Landscape and Double O Arches, but it was cold and windy so we headed back into Moab and grabbed some burritos and tacos from Giliberto’s Mexican Taco Shop. These are a locals’ favorite for grab-and-go. After brunch, we headed to Canyonsland for the afternoon, making a stop first at Dead Horse Point State Park to the see bend in the Colorado River.
