"There is no other place better than blue gill in the mobile Alabama area. Starting off walking into the bluegill restaurant the atmosphere was so amazingly unique. Then the food was really good and filling for a good price. But finally what made our night was meeting Shelly at the oyster grill near the entrance. I highly recommend the bluegills restaurant but don't forget to meet Shelly!"

The hostess was very friendly and informative when we called to ask about gluten free options for my mom who has celiac disease. She even took our names down for call ahead seating as we mentioned we were headed their way. The food was very delicious, we had fried alligator appetizer which my dad enjoyed so much he then got the meal, my mom got the blackened shrimp with turnip greens and coleslaw and it did not upset her stomach so kudos to the kitchen for keeping it gluten free!
