"Food was decent, it took forever to place an order. I believe I was in line for 20 minutes. Once order was placed it took about 5-8 minutes for the food. Oxtails could have been a bit more tender, but had good flavor and slight kick. Cabbage was bit too salty for me but still edible. I was bummed that they were out of festival bread. Overall I would return as clearly it’s a local favorite given how there was always a line as well as the phone ringing."

"Visited on a trip to Montgomery. The food was phenomenal, tried beef ox tails for the first time and it won’t be the last. Placed an order over the phone ahead of time, was told 20 minutes. I got there 25 minutes later and had to wait 10-15 more minutes which kinda sucked as I ordered ahead to avoid this. Other than the wait I don’t have any other complaints."
