"Love the fried chicken, rice w/gravy and greens. My plate came with cornbread and a sweet tea. Hot as hell in the dining room, no A/C. Fans all over the place on high. Dude is passed out in a food coma across from me. I knew this was my kinda place when I walked in there. Simple no nonsense menu. Great food choices with plenty of side options too. Definitely coming back for the meat loaf or catfish next time."

"This place makes me so happy. I have been here 4 times for lunch in about a week and a half, because it reminds me of my grandmothers. I, or someone in my family, has had turkey wings, fried chicken, oz tails, meatloaf, smothered pork chop, and essentially all of the side orders. The collard greens and rice and gravy are probably my favorites. The ladies who work here are lovely. They are set up for takeaway as well if that is what you need."

"I tried this place because a friend recommended for as the food was top choice for soul food in Montgomery! The atmosphere was pretty great and and I was welcome. The food distasteful my meal was the cabbage, Mac-cheese, and the fried chicken and the cornbread. Immediately I taste the cabbage and they taste like a tea bag with seasoning on them. The chicken undercooked the Mac- cheese clumpy. This was a terrible. I paid over $14 this has ruin my taste buds for the rest of week!!"
