Sunday—and Saturday—Fundays are the standard at The Standard in Fort Myers. Ever since it opened a few years ago in the River District, it quickly gained a following for breakfast pizzas, clever egg dishes, and bottomless mimosas and bloody marys, but more recently it added karaoke emceed by drag queen Alyssa Lemay on Saturdays and some Sundays (on other Sundays, musicians entertain). The sing-along features guests crooning between bites of bagels and lox until the afternoon.

It is another upscale steakhouse in Naples but located on 3rd St. If you love caviar as much as we do, make sure to try it because it was incredible. We also had the Yellowtail Carpaccio, Steak Tartare, Heirloom Tomato Carpaccio salad, Iowa Fillet Mignon, and a side of Creamed Corn. All in all, we splurged to a $500 dinner but sometimes you just have to and luckily it was worth every bite!

We always order a yellow tail carpaccio or tomato carpaccio as an appetizer, both dressed in a delicious and refreshing vinaigrette. Their crab souffle is always a crowd pleaser, fluffier and lighter than a crab cake without missing any flavor. Their gold label filet is the only way to go…tender and marbled enough to just melt in your mouth.

The Continental: Just around the corner from The Bevy is a restaurant that has become a fast top choice of ours, called The Continental. The restaurant, described as a mix between steakhouse and craft bar, welcomes dogs and their owners on the outdoor patio at all times. The atmosphere is upbeat, fun and caters to all age groups.

The Continental has upgraded the space that used to be Handsome Harry’s down on Third Street South. This upscale, trendy restaurant is best known for their Provisions and 30 seat Craft Bar. Providing only the finest Prime, Wagyu and Piedmontese beef, it’s easy to see why they are known for being a top Steakhouse in Naples.

Best mixology and beautiful design: The Continental is just down the street from sister restaurant Campiello and now takes the award for most beautiful outdoor patio. It also specializes in mixology, and even features four special mixes in huge glass globes hanging over the bar. Great live music too on the outdoor stage.

The Continental Another welcome addition to downtown, its house bands fill the courtyard with favorite tunes most evenings. A grand outdoor bar hung with globes of craft cocktails, generous dance floor, and bar menu of designer small plates further welcome late-nighters.

One of the more expensive restaurants in town but ABSOLUTELY* delicious. We went with extended family and sat outside in our own little tent and loved it!. You get a little bit of privacy that way but still are not completely shut off from the restaurant.

This upscale steakhouse is a Third Street South mainstay during the week but cuts loose on Friday and Saturday nights with live music and dancing. A great way to cap off dinner downtown and start the weekend with some fun.
