"This place is a hidden gem! The food was absolutely delicious, and the prices were super affordable for the quality. Every dish was so flavorful and authentic, bringing a real taste of Ukrainian culture to the table. "A friend and I went to a garden show and decided to try Oleysa's, I haven't had Ukranian food since I was a little girl.
We tried the mushroom soup which was tasty and had lots of herbs in it.
We got the pork hot pot which was very good. Roasted pork and vegetables served in a big handled bowl with bread baked on the top. Excellent flavor and well seasoned.
We tried the mushroom dumplings which were delicious but we both thought they'd be good fried instead of steamed because of our personal food texture issues.
We also tried the pickled veggies which were very lightly pickled with some seasonings and quite enjoyable.
We tried the beef stroganoff which I actually what I've always heard called goulash, served over buckwheat which was different and really enjoyable.
We finished off our dining experience with honey cake (omg, so light and sweet and totally delicious) and berry crepes, which had a bit more chocolate on them then they needed it overwhelmed them a tiny bit.
Definitely want to return and try some more"
