"Nice local restaurant with a big array of food options. Even during covid-19, the place was popular with the locals and the tourist fishermen/women. The multi- cultural menu included locally harvested items like seafood gumbo and seafood platters, Bavarian dishes, spaghetti and meatballs (2 baseball size), pizza, sub sandwiches and a variety of creole dishes. We had planned to get the big seafood platter for 2 that had crablegs but I wanted to try something creole. We also ordered the appetizer platter which had crabmeat boudins. Pictured is my dish of eggplant shrimp creole. It came with toasts and on a bed of seasoned rice. The eggplant appeared to be battered and deep fried, then stuffed with shrimp creole. It was delicious. My husband got the small seafood platter that came with fries and 2 types of dipping sauces. Besides the typical restaurant soda and teas, there were choices of beers and cocktails. We got beers and coconut rum with pineapple juice. While we were waiting on our food, we chatted with some locals who recommended the spaghetti and meatballs (the best she ever had anywhere hands down). Next time we visit the area we'll definitely will try more dishes including the recommended spaghetti."
