On my last NY trip, I was having a stressful day because I was trying to do everything all at once and it wasn’t all working out, so I Just need a comforting bowl of Matzoh Ball Soup, and found the best I’ve ever had in my life here. THey don’t take reservations, but I went by myself and ended up sitting next to a Jewish girl from Dallas and having a really nice conversation.

The original "appetizing store" debuted in 1914, and today stands as a throwback to a time when the Lower East Side was a neighborhood of new immigrants.
