Reviews Summary
Sushi King offers an affordable all-you-can-eat sushi experience with many diners praising the freshness and quality of the food, which often exceeds expectations for the price. However, some reviews mention issues with cleanliness, food consistency, and service during busy periods or for large parties, with a few citing significant negative experiences like finding insects in food. Despite mixed reviews, many find it to be a great value and a favorite spot for sushi lovers.
"Been here twice now. Both times we went there was only about 3 other tables dining at the restaurant. Kind of shocking the line isn't out the door like every other place because the food is absolutely amazing. It's all you can eat but you order what you want as much as you want and the waitress brings it to the table. We have tried all kinds of sushi, hibachi scallops, seafood lo mein, crab Rangoon, spring rolls, shrimp tempura and more everything is hot and fresh and made to order. Much higher quality than your typical buffet food. Both times we went I was amazed by the freshness and quality of the food cooked to perfection. The sauces were also very good. This is definitely by far my favorite sushi place that exceeds all others. Our bill today (Sunday) was only 41.00 for 2 people. We would have paid at least that eating anywhere else and again, it's all you can eat so we got a lot of food."

"We just learned about this location, decided to try it out. When we got to our table, the chairs were all wobbly, the table was sticky, the chopsticks were rough. The food was edible, but definitely lower quality than the Norfolk location. One of the appetizers that came out had a dead fly in the sauce and completely turned us off of eating anything else. The service wasn't great, had to get up to find out server and ask for a check. We will never go back."

"Between all the people in the kitchen, the dishes coming out of the dishwasher, the drying of the dish, plating of the food and the runner running out the food no one caught the big glob of blue gum on our food plate. The manager was nice and quick to void our check and offer to re order but at that point we didn’t want to eat there anymore. Server was very nice and attentive so no issues on customer service."
