Reviews Summary

Thaijindesu Thai and Sushi Bar is widely celebrated for its exceptionally fresh sushi and delicious, authentic Thai dishes, often described as the best in the region. Diners rave about the vibrant flavors, generous portions, and friendly, attentive service in a modern, airy setting. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, some minor concerns have been noted regarding specific roll flavors and occasional slow service during peak times.

"I only went in for the sushi and it is by far the best sushi I have had in a very long time. All of the Thai food looked and smelled fantastic, but I was in the mood for sushi and this spot did not dissapoint. The rice was perfect, good filling to rice ratio, and the spicy tuna is unlike any I've had before.

This spot is amazing."

"Decided to try a new restaurant tonight, and so glad we did! Every piece of food we had was delicious, the portion sizes were generous, and the prices were reasonable. I went with a safe staple for my entree, and don’t think I’ve had pad thai this flavorful since I was in Portland! The staff here was also super friendly and attentive - they must have topped off my husband’s water like 47 times (thank you/sorry haha). We’ll definitely be returning!"

"The sushi is the freshest on the Peninsula! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Thaijindesu, and we will be back! The sushi was so fresh. I didn't realize the other sushi restaurants we frequent weren't as fresh until I had theirs. The only reason we hadn't been yet is because it's always so busy. We were late eating around 8 p.m., and the restaurant had plenty of patrons but a much smaller crowd with lots more seating options. It was a nice evening, and we considered sitting on the lovely patio however we chose inside for our first visit. It WAS SO GOOD!!! I can't wait to return and try some of the thai entrees as I love the international Thai spices and flavor. But this evening, we were only in the mood for sushi, and it did not disappoint.
Update: Our newest experience with the food was impeccable again. Hubby tried the crunch salmon roll, which was disappointing in flavor. There wasn't much to it! It was the least favorite we have tried. It wasn't gross but not good, either. We won't order it again. The Big John's Roll was 🔥. It will be on the favorite list. The Philadelphia roll was on point in flavor and freshness as usual. The service was disappointing this time. The restaurant was full at 8:30, with many guests preparing to depart. We were seated and didn't have a server visit to take our drink order for 10 minutes. We ordered everything at once. The server did not check in on flavor but did keep our waters full. We did not have a bad experience but were a little disappointed with the overall friendliness and attention. I would still recommend and recognize that We were in later and maybe servers were busy with closing side work."
