"Chesca’s food isn’t as good as it used to be. And the service felt a little chaotic. My entree was never put in so I ended up eating a dish that was brought to our table by accident and they still charged us for it. Which I wouldn’t have minded so much if it all tasted really good but it was just good not great. I don’t recommend the lobster pinsa which is advertised as a pizza. It’s a cold dish ."

"Chesca’s Restaurant is my favorite on the island!
First, the food is hands-down amazing! The service was spot on for our party of 20. Every dish was full of flavor and freshness! The entrees were perfect and so were our wine selections.
In addition, I had an engagement cake made by one of the owners and the Chef himself came to congratulate us as well as our families!
You MUST stop by for your special occasions as these are wonderful people who filled our evening with great food, great atmosphere, and great service!
We can’t wait to go back again for more great food!"

I haven't tried Water, Balance, or Alchemy yet (one of them changed hands over the winter, btw). I also haven't tried Savoir Faire, but it has an excellent reputation. There are several new places opening up in Vineyard Haven, with very promising chefs.
