The Greenery Restaurant at the Rainbow Gardens Center

"The Greenery Restaurant in Ogden is a great spot! The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, and the food is delicious. I loved the variety on the menu—everything we tried was fresh and tasty. The French dip sandwich and fries were awesome, and the muffin was a nice touch.

The staff was friendly and made sure we had a good experience. It’s a perfect place for a casual meal with family or friends. I’ll definitely be coming back!"

"The Greenery Restaurant has been a nostalgic stop for my family for as long as I can remember. So, after decades away from Utah, I was buzzing with excitement to have lunch there again. And to be fair, lunch was good. The service? Lovely. The outdoor seating? Gorgeous. So why the one-star review?

Because this isn't about lunch. This is about the Mormon muffins.

These muffins used to be legendary. I mean, full-on tradition. Every visit, I'd stock up like a squirrel before winter, enough muffins to last the week and bring a little Greenery joy home. But what I got this time? I didn’t recognize them. Truly. They looked like they’d lost a bar fight and rolled across a dusty floor for good measure.

They were half the size they used to be. Maybe even less. I get it, times are tough, but come on, this is muffin betrayal.

“Okay,” I thought, “maybe the honey butter will redeem this sad little situation.” Spoiler: it did not. The butter tasted like plain oil, no sweetness, no honey, no joy.

And the muffins themselves? Dry. Bland. A faint ghost of the rich, comforting taste they once had. If you're looking for nostalgia, you won't find it in that takeout box.

I wanted memories. I got muffin heartbreak."

"We were very confused by this place. The salad was so sad with shredded lettuce and hardly any fixings. The eggs Benedict tasted very soggy and freezer burnt, and the menu said it comes with “seasonal fruit” but when my plate came out, it was one single apple slice. We were also very disappointed with the famous Mormon muffins. There was literally nothing special about them. Won’t be recommending this place to anyway unfortunately:("
