What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Mo Fish is celebrated for its delicious, perfectly fried seafood, particularly its catfish, carp, and walleye, served in generous portions with friendly service. While many praise the fresh taste and cozy, fish-themed atmosphere, some find the batter too thick or the prices a bit high for the portion sizes of some sides. Overall, it's a beloved local spot for comforting seafood.
"I went here for the first time for my birthday meal. I will definitely be back for other occasions. The restaurant was a full house but each table got friendly service and their food fast. The food was fresh and fried perfectly. The food was so good we also ordered some take out to go. I loved the decor of the restaurant, you can tell delish fish is the focus."

"I ordered the whole catfish dinner with fries & coleslaw. The fish was cooked as I requested with the tail, and it was properly cooked. I loved the taste of everything, but the batter/breading was a bit too thick to my liking. The price was affordable ( our lady server kept our drinks full), and the service was excellent. My family and I came during a very cold snap, and there was plenty of seating. However, should they get busy, there is limited seating. The appetizers were delicious and a good large portion. We ordered corn fritters, pickle sticks, and hushpuppies. They offered honey, butter spread, ketchup, and ranch dressing. Hot sauce was available on request if not on the table. My other family members enjoyed the carp dinner, boneless catfish, shrimp dinner, and chicken strips. I would highly recommend this hidden gem in Council Bluffs"

"I was craving carp. Ordered the 2 pieces. The 2nd piece was extremely hard and tasted like water. Okra was really good, though. Gizzards were tasty but HUGE. I won't be back anytime soon."
