Pitch Pizzeria is a hip and modern restaurant that just happens to serve some of the best Italian food and pizza in town. Their pizzas are fired in a coal oven, giving it an authentic flavor that is hard to find in America. The Quatro is an especially tasty pie that is topped with four different cheeses including goat cheese, mozzarella, smoked cheddar and Grana Padano.

Pitch is always a comfort spot for me and one of my go-to restaurants when I come to Omaha. They have amazing wood-fired pizzas, entrees, and even house-made wine. I enjoy both their Dundee and West Omaha locations, but their Dundee was their first location so if possible – that’s the one I’d choose!

One of my personal favorites is the coal-fired, long-stemmed artichokes at Pitch. My wife and I love those and it is always our go-to appetizer and sometimes just our meal. I have tried to replicate them at home, but they never turn out as good.

Pitch has two locations in Omaha: one near downtown and one in Village Pointe. Both are hotspots for those wanting pizza. Many people in Omaha would say Pitch is one of their favorite pizza places, which is no surprise.

It is my all-time favorite place to go for a slice of pie (or four). The Veggie Pie is my favorite, as it is made with seasonal vegetables. This means it is always perfectly fresh and flavorful!

I was never really sure about Pitch, considering it was started by the guy with Godfather fame. I never liked Godfather's pizza, I would rather go to Nicola's than Godfather's.

Apart from their thin, crunchy crusts, Pitch Pizzeria has some killer wings. These go well with some of the cocktails they offer. I’m particularly in love with their pizza.
