After you eat, grab a coffee for the road at Barney’s Coffee & Tea, then keep walking toward the Morse Museum, home to a globally recognized collection of pieces by Louis Comfort Tiffany, including glass lamps, windows, paintings, jewelry and more; admission is just $6. Beyond that, at the end of Park Avenue, is Casa Feliz, a historic home built by noted architect James Gamble Rogers II. It was saved from destruction in 2005 by a dedicated group of Winter Parkers who raised funds to pick up and move the house to its current location next to the Winter Park Golf Course. In addition to being a popular wedding venue (my husband and I got married there in 2016), it’s open for tours and presents weekly music programs.

Downtown Winter Park Born in Orlando in 1980, Barnie’s has gone through roller-coaster changes, yet remains committed to great coffee. Supervisor of coffee Dustin Fleming relates the current business to fine wine—beans that are traceable to specific growers and seasons. Its latest initiative, called Crop•Ex, sources “extraordinary crops” from family farms, including beans from 508 women growers who are a chapter of the International Women’s Coffee Alliance in Burundi, rebuilding the coffee economy after decades of civil war.

Less than a ten minute walk from Starbucks tucked into a tiny corner of Park Avenue is Barnie’s. This coffee shop in Winter Park has been around for more than three decades earning prizes at international coffee competitions and praise for their unique blends. Not only do they go above and beyond to find the best beans for your in store please but they also sell pretty much every bean they have by the bag in store and online.

If you’re in the mood for something new, head to Barnie’s Coffee & Tea Co. in Winter Park. Their flagship store is a test kitchen for all the micro-roasts, specialty drinks and made-from-scratch dishes coming to a Barnie’s near you. In addition to espresso, drip coffee and cold brew, you can indulge in tea, smoothies, lemonade, and even beer and wine at this classic Park Avenue establishment.

Barnie’s Coffee in Winter Park has a bold mission: to create “the most dramatically delicious coffee in the world.” Inspired by delectable and rich flavors in other foods and spices, Barnie’s has successfully translated its mission into a memorable coffee. For those looking for copious amounts of caffeine, you can’t go wrong with Barnie’s espresso bar. Do you enjoy variety?

One last coffee recommendation I have to add is Barnie’s on Park Ave in Winter Park. I often get a drink here while I am strolling the avenue and it has become a favorite of mine. The Santa’s White Christmas Latte is an especially popular drink worth getting around the holidays, although they have excellent tea, pour overs and even breakfast and lunch options too.

Winter Park is well-known for its brick-lined streets, courtyard hideaways, and excellent food. Wander along the aforementioned streets long enough and you’ll eventually find yourself outside of Barnie’s Coffee & Tea Co., a quaint cafe and coffee haven. After ordering at the counter, pull up a chair indoors or out.

Being a nationally recognized brand known for its taste, you might think that’s the only thing drawing crowds to Barnie’s Coffee & Tea Co. But that’s not the case. From their cozy courtyard seating area to their central location, it’s the perfect spot to grab a cup before continuing your shopping.

Barnies Coffee has been around for as long as I can remember, but they just renovated and there is a cool courtyard you can sip a cup of coffee with some brunch. This is definitely the perfect Orlando coffee shops for a date. After you can enjoy a walk down Park ave.

Some people may not know that Barnie's actually started back in the 80's right here in Orlando. Now, their only cafe in Winter Park is serving up drinks, breakfast, lunch, and brunch. When the weather is agreeable, you can't beat the outside courtyard.

Parking: Free parking on the streets for the Winter Park location. This is a little shop in the corner of the beautiful streets of Winter Park. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing with outdoor seating.
