What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tako Cheena is celebrated for its inventive and delicious fusion of Mexican and Asian flavors, particularly its unique 'takos' and hearty burritos. Diners love the vibrant atmosphere and creative menu. However, some have encountered issues with ingredient availability and, in one instance, a concerning find in their food, along with inconsistent customer service.
"Try the Thai parang chicken burrito, it's a great balance of sweet and spicy. Lots of fresh crunchy bell peppers and green beans, peanuts and rice. HUGE size! Also has something I wish more places had, an outdoor sink to wash your hands!"
Dan Goldbach
"Very interesting flavor combinations. I loved the asian flair to the street taco experience. The restaurant wasn’t what I expected with only outdoor seating on the street side. They were never overwhelmed while we were there and they cranked out food pretty quick.
I would return. They did have a lot of tacos marked unavailable that I would have loved to try. I don’t know if it is a permanent change or simply low on ingredients.
Thanks for the unique twist and fabulous flavors!"

"THE BEST. The best. I will go out of my way to eat here anytime I drive through Orlando. Perfect combination of Latin & Asian flavors. The Korean dog does not disappoint. Been coming here for a decade and I swear the food gets better!"

An emphasis is placed on unique and inventive flavor combinations, crafted with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. There’s nothing traditional about Tako Cheena—from its wildly-painted, kitschy, hip exterior to its flavorful, Asian-fusion “takos.” The menu mainstays are the takos—most dressed with crunchy cabbage, scallions, kimchi and cilantro. We recommend the tom yum mojo takos, made with latin asian infused marinated shrimp with tom yum mojo sauce on a bed of spicy seasoned slaw and garnished with cilantro and scallions.
