The Grand Marlin is located right where the bridge from Pensacola touch ground on Pensacola Beach. So if you come from the "right" direction, it is what welcomes you to Pensacola Beach. But more so, it is a modern, spacious, relaxed and friendly seafood and steakhouse restaurant.

They said they did not have any water view tables, because they were reserved. Well we left at 6 after having great meals, 50% of the water view tables were still empty. Suggestion, at least leave a couple of tables for walkins or let the walks in know its for a limited time.

After happily roaming the beach and marveling over the sand (ours on the Atlantic Coast is not quite that amazing) we hopped back in the car, excited to spend Happy Hour at our hosts’ top recommended waterfront restaurant, The Grand Marlin. I turned the key: nothing.

Grand Marlin varies from good to average depending on the day. It is a bit pricier. Although in the minority I think Shrimp Basket is decent for average fried seafood and there’s never a line.

Beautiful views of Pensacola Beach and a menu that changes daily based on the catch. What more could you ask for?. Brunch is very seafood heavy!
