What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Lagunitas Brewing Company offers a vibrant atmosphere with great beer and pub food, enhanced by friendly service and engaging brewery tours. While many praise the quality of their brews and the lively ambiance, some visitors have noted slow service during peak times and occasional inconsistencies with food items.
"This is hands down one of the best brewery experiences I’ve had. The vibe is super laid-back and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and really knows their stuff. They’re happy to help you navigate the tap list, which has a great mix of classics and creative small-batch options. The IPA is still a standout.
The outdoor patio is a great hangout spot. It’s dog friendly, family friendly, and just has a really good energy. Our dog Emma had the best time and made a few new friends.
Whether you’re a craft beer fan or just looking for a chill afternoon, Lagunitas is a solid pick. I’m already looking forward to going back."

"What can I say that has not already been said about this wonderful local brewery that has not already been said? Well see I am not really a fan of alcohol. Never had any issues with it just not a fan. But Lagunitas is much more than beer.
They have an amazing covered patio that covers the seating area for an outside bar and inside bar and food service. They have events merchandise and tours that you can take. It is a truly beautiful establishment well ingrained in Sonoma County and especially Petaluma.
I was eating with some coworkers there today and I got the spicy chicken sandwich with the barbecue Mac salad. One of my friends got the 3rd pound burger, and my other friend got the chicken salad sandwich.
All the food is top notch albeit they brought my friends beans late after he had finished his meal.
Other than that zero complaints!!"

The 11 Best Breweries in Sonoma and Napa Valley
Like Larry Bell, Ken Grossman, Sam Calagione, and many others, Lagunitas’ Founder Tony Magee began brewing in his kitchen on a five-gallon homebrewing kit. In 1995, Magee introduced Lagunitas IPA, a bold, bitter beer that set the tone for West Coast IPAs for years. Brewed with Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, and Simcoe, Lagunitas IPA balances that hop explosion with a bevy of malts, including English Crystal, Caramel, and Munich Malts.
