After growing up hearing stories about the restaurant, its atmosphere, food and drink, from my parents and having never been in my life, I was delighted and surprised to find a true hidden gem of Northern Michigan.
The service was incredible, our server, Stacy, treated us like family and was extremely attentive to the table, quick to offer recommendations our accommodations whenever and wherever needed.
Our food was incredible, somehow even better than the way my parents words had painted it. My dinner, the Grilled Chicken with Fettuccine, was cooked to perfection and served with fresh bell peppers and tomatoes.
And while we dined on the patio, I would be remiss to not mention the interior. A wonderfully welcoming waiting area leads you to the bar and dining rooms, which from the brief look I caught were also very well positioned, allowing the area to be full, but not overly loud so that conversations are still discernible.
Overall, a true hidden gem just outside of beautiful Charlevoix Michigan, a wonderful night to close out a great day in the lake"
