Reviews Summary

Jean-Georges Philadelphia is widely celebrated for its breathtaking city views and impeccable service, creating a truly memorable fine dining experience. While many rave about the culinary artistry and personalized touches, some diners found the tasting menu's duration lengthy and the food occasionally not matching the sky-high expectations set by the ambiance and price point.

"We had an absolutely phenomenal meal here from start to finish. They very kindly fit us in last minute which was amazing and gave us a gorgeous table with a phenomenal view. We had the vegetable and the meat/seafood tasting menu and both were delicious—maybe one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Cocktails and mocktails were terrific and service was stellar—shout out to Chris who was so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved it!"

Jenny B

"I had an amazing time at Jean-Georges! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The view was absolutely breathtaking — the perfect backdrop to a beautiful evening. The service was top-tier: attentive, professional, and thoughtful without being overbearing.

Every detail was handled with care, and it truly made for a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy fine dining with stunning ambiance. I’ll definitely be returning!"

Hezekiah White

"For starters, you’re paying for the ambiance and the experience of dining at the top of the Comcast Tower. The panoramic views of Philadelphia are stunning, and the atmosphere is elegant without feeling stuffy. The service is truly excellent, attentive, polished, and welcoming from start to finish.

As for the tasting menu, the food was… okay. I expected more, especially given the price point. I’ve had better-tasting meals in the city at a lower cost. Many of the dishes arrived room temperature or cold, and a few lacked the depth and bursts of flavor I’d anticipated. The caviar, while fine, was milder than I prefer—though that’s admittedly personal taste.

Another point worth noting is that the tasting menu took almost four hours to complete, despite being only 5–7 courses. While I appreciate a relaxed pace, this felt overly drawn out.

Overall, it was a beautiful experience in a breathtaking setting with impeccable service, but the food didn’t quite match the level of the views or the price tag."
