The Vandal is an amazing whole food restaurant, perfect for grabbing a bite of breakfast or spot of lunch. The interior is light and open, with brick walls, white furniture, and plenty of green plants for a touch of color. Open from the morning until the late afternoon, Vandal serves breakfast meals, such as biscuit sandwiches with eggs and bacon or ham and cheddar, yogurt and granola, and larger breakfast plates.

Even a few years ago, when I was coming up the ranks, people used to assume you were going to suck just because you are a girl. But now that’s slowly changing. It includes good eats like the Baked Egg with spinach, leek, ricotta, and spring onions. There’s also Ricotta Toast with mandarinquat (hybrid of mandarin and kumquat) marmalade, pistachio, and chocolate, and a Lardo Toast with rhubarb jam and pistachio. When we first looked at The Vandal’s brunch menu, we read off every dish we wanted to try…and it was legitimately all of them. So, we’ll be there every Saturday (and okay, maybe Sunday) until we try them all. Who else is up for the challenge?

4306 Butler Street The Vandal keeps a tight, but diverse wine list both by the glass and by the bottle, which suits their menu well. Their staff always has a nice recommendation or two, as well.

Especially if you want to capture very neutral photos, this is a great place!. There are a lot of light colors. Moreover, you find here some very pretty small details.

On July 23, The Vandal and Station are teaming up with Atlas Bottle Works and Brooklyn Brewery for a special five-course beer dinner.

Juicy and plumpy inside, crispy skin outside with bit of maple syrup or honey drizzled - made a perfect savory-sweet combo.
