Reviews Summary
Fox's Lobster House offers spectacular views and a classic Maine seafood experience, with many praising the fresh lobster and homemade blueberry pie. While some find the prices a bit high, the breathtaking scenery and generally good service make it a memorable stop, especially after visiting the nearby Nubble Lighthouse. Some diners have noted inconsistencies in certain dishes, but the overall ambiance and prime location are consistent highlights.
"Stopped in after visiting the lighthouse, we had literally just ate but stopped in for a drink and had to try their blueberry pie, 4 ppl split two slices, one with vanilla & the other with wild blueberry ice cream. Service was great super friendly, informative and attentive- recipe for success. yummy!"

"The day just feels better with a short walk to the lighthouse followed by a delicious snack on the Fox 's picnic patio! The lobster roll is amazing! the lobster is soft and flavorful, not too covered by the sauce, and the bread..the bread is a game-changer! the ideal thickness, crispy on the outside and soft within, love it! The chowder is also good, milky and smooth, never dense or floury. The price here are also quite reasonable, especially compared to other spots in Maine. While the patio is lovely, it can get windy so you always have the option of enjoying your meal in their restaurant. Either way, this is an experience you won't want to miss!"

"Fox's Lobster House 9-6-25
We had to stop by this Lobster House for the Lobster. The lady that greeted us at the front was very friendly and answered any questions we had about this place as it was our first time there. She stated you want to sit upstairs as the views were much better. The views from upstairs were spectacular with the ocean and Lighthouse in the background just amazing. They do have an outside patio for dining which is rather large with shading for all to enjoy that kind of atmosphere. Now let's get to the food. I ordered a bowl of Clam Chowder, and my wife ordered a cup of Lobster Bisque for appitizers. We both ordered the Fox's Favorite Lighthouse Dinner which had 1.5-pound Lobster, Corn on the Cob with Baked Potato. Our soup came out first, it was hot and very tasty, mine was packed with clams. This had to be the best New England Clam Chowder I ever had. In fact, it was so good I did not want to share it with my lovely wife. She stated her Lobster Bisque was fantastic also. The Corn on the Cob and Baked Potato was also good, but the star of the dinner was the Soup and Lobster. Everything was hot, tasty and with the great service provided by Stella we just loved this place, and my bet is you will also. You must stop by here not only for a great dinner but the spectacular views and a visit to the Lighthouse right next door. If I could give this place 6 stars I would but I will give it 5 stars and a +.

Fox’s is unabashedly commercial, and charges more than it could, but so what?. You’re sitting outside, eating pre-cracked lobsters and breathing salt air, on a headland that would be worth zillions in real estate terms. Looking straight at Nubble Light.
