Reviews Summary
Lobster Cove offers a quintessential New England seafood experience with stunning ocean views, particularly favored for its fresh lobster and clam chowder. While many praise the friendly service and classic dishes, some recent reviews mention inconsistencies in food quality and service, with a few diners expressing disappointment over value and preparation.
"This was my first stop on my Maine road trip and it was a perfect start. I saw upstairs with an amazing view and had a few local beers along with a lobster dish. The squash and potatoes were perfect and I just looked out the window for awhile. They had lots of other good looking menu items, and the service was good, everyone was nice."

"This is a perfect example of 'don't judge a book by its cover'. From the outside, the restaurant is not impressive.
Had lunch with Mom who stated her casserole was delicious. I had the yummy lobster roll. Perfect with a hint of mayo but you couldn't taste the mayo. The coleslaw was perfectly seasoned with no overpowering ingredients.
I can't remember our server's name. But she was very nice, pleasant and attentive.
The restaurant is small and it has a bar upstairs. It is located across from the beach. I love the beach so I enjoyed eating and looking at the waves.
The bathrooms were very clean.
They're open year-round. I imagine it would be a favorite spot during the summer."

"Lobster Cove 9-7-25
We had to stop by here for a Lobster Roll. This place is not fancy but its clean and the waitresses are friendly. They are on the ball with service and checking up on you. We ordered two Big Huge Lobster Rolls which came with Fries and Cole Slaw. Our food came out fast and the Lobster Roll was huge, very good and tasty. The Fries and Cole Slaw were also good. All our food was hot and plenty of it. When we were done, we were full. They do have an outside and patio area to eat in if you want. The view of the Beach out the front is good. I will give this place a 4 out of 5 stars.
