What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Nomad Pizza receives praise for its high-quality wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas and unique flavor combinations, often featuring farm-to-table ingredients. While many enjoy the modern and hip atmosphere, some find the gluten-free crust disappointing and the overall pricing a bit high for the portion sizes. The service is generally friendly, though experiences can vary.
"Love love this place. Took my daughter her before her regatta and we had the best pizza. Their Caesar salad was one of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend the Sopressata pizza. It was delicious. Also, I love the fact that it had vegan cheese for my daughter who is allergic to dairy!"

"Nomad tries to be a modern hip dining spot for the Princeton crowd, while offering high quality pies for the demanding pizza folks. Succeeds more with the former. Dining area was well lit with the shiny metallic feel and very large windows. Tables somewhat close together but comfortable atmosphere even with busy dinner crowd. Service was friendly and enthusiastic from the Gen Z staff. Pizza offers chewy crust and unremarkable sauce and ordinary cheese. Organic brand name black tea if you like."

"I ordered the margarita pie. It was not a meat option but I requested meatball on the pie.
The pie had the perfect balance of cheese sauce and meatball. It was excellent! I polished the whole thing off which is very uncharacteristic of me.
The draft sodas are a nice touch. The root beer was solid! There was a wine list on the menu but I did not see anything about beer. I was “still on the clock” so to speak so I did not inquire about it.
It has a nice atmosphere and plenty of real estate. So unless you're going at a peak time you should not have a problem finding a table.
The pie and soda came to $25.59 before tip which in today's market is extremely affordable in my opinion. From what I can tell, they didn't charge the additional 3+% that most places are charging when you use a credit card.
I was extremely happy with my meal and I look forward to returning again! It was a wonderful experience."

Nomad Pizza added to the gas station that once stood at its site with a seating area that can be enclosed in bad weather and opened when the sun comes out. And while it’s technically BYO it offers a small selection of area wines. And the center’s inner courtyard offers benches and tables for customers at Pizza Star, Cross Culture, Surf Taco, Lillipies, and Bon Appetit — where diners inside and out have the added bonus of music being piped through speakers and into the courtyard.
The 10 Best Gluten-Free Spots in Princeton
My daughter has celiac disease and we came to Nomad since they have a gluten free option on the menu. Upon discussion with the waitress, we learned that it is in fact not gluten free because of all of the cross contamination including same prep area and throwing it raw onto the same cooking slab. Every gluten free pizza spot we have ever ordered from prepares gluten free pizzas in a completely separate area and cooks them in a gluten free pan to ensure no cross contamination.

Nomad Pizza has two restaurants in Jersey: this one in the Princeton Shopping Center, and another in Hopewell. Nomad’s Neapolitan pies have classic semi-soft interiors and puffy crusts. Beyond the soulful margherita, highlights include the hot soppressata—with tomato sauce, Italian soppressata, mozzarella, red pepper flakes, oregano and a drizzle of honey to temper the assertive spice.301 North Harrison Street, 609-285-5187
