Reviews Summary

Gravy is a highly-rated Italian-American restaurant known for its handmade pasta, signature 'gravy' sauce, and friendly service. While many praise the delicious food and cozy atmosphere, some diners have noted inconsistencies with the sauce's saltiness or experienced kitchen delays during peak hours. The calamari, bruschetta, and various pasta dishes are frequently highlighted as favorites.

"Really creative gluten-free options, delicious red sauce or gravy as they call it lol. This is one of our favorite Italian restaurants."

Kenneth Smith

"Disappointed in the Sauce, it was very salty.
Some of the best calamari and bruschetta ever.

The man that was seating us seems to be very grumpy that you don’t have a reservation… even if the restaurant is LITERALLY empty. So I guess make a reservation lol"

S T

"Located in the downtown area of Raleigh, Gravy has been around for a couple of decades which tells you that it must be good. Service was excellent! Can’t remember our server’s name but it was Italian sounding because we even joked about it. GRAVY = pasta sauce, that’s how the Italians refer to it. The calamari was one of the very best I’ve ever had, as well as the chopped salad. And the complimentary garlic knots was the bomb. I would return in a heartbeat for the appetizers and the great and friendly service. Parking is available across the street."
