"I had such a wonderful time at the grand opening of Catrachos Latin Cuisine! I was honored to be the first award invitee winner for this special event. The ambience is truly unmatched in Rapid City, South Dakota; every detail is thoughtfully designed, from the lighting to even the bathrooms.
The food was an incredible journey through many Spanish countries, with bites inspired by Colombia, Mexico, Spain, and more. We also had the privilege of meeting the talented chef and Ruiz, the co-owner, who were both so welcoming and passionate about their craft.
We learned they even have a private space perfect for intimate gatherings, completely secluded from the main dining area.
I’m beyond excited to return for more delicious bites—and I have the honor of inviting my amazing husband as my plus one so he can experience it all with me.
Highly recommend this gem; it’s a beautiful addition to Rapid City’s dining scene!"

We are visiting from out of town and were looking for somewhere special to eat. This hit all the boxes. The restaurant was beautiful inside. So much attention to detail. We were treated like honored guests from the moment we walked in. The food looked and tasted amazing. Both the server and owner checked in on us often but in a non-intrusive way. You can tell they love giving guests a fantastic experience and sharing Latin cuisine. Can’t recommend enough!!!"

"New spot we checked out on our <24hr stop in Rapid City. Food was delicious, especially the aji chicken, which came with an amazing garlicky sauce. Portions are very generous. We also got the arros chaufa with mixed meat. We just ordered these two dishes for two adults and ended up packing half of it up to go.
Service was great. Staff was very attentive and although they did guide us how long each dish would take, 20-25min to wait for any food to be served (partially our fault for only ordering entrees) was a bit long.
Interior decor was nice. Price was a bit high coming in at $90 for two dishes including tip. Overall would recommend!!"
