"I had a great experience at Rockefeller. The food was amazing. The staff was really nice. They were very busy at 6:30 PM. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I definitely will be back."

"I went in on this past Sunday (August 4th) in the early afternoon... after wondering the streets looking for parking. Helpful hint: they have limited parking in the rear. I didn't know this before I arrived so I parked on the street down by the Post Office.
Kelly was my server I sat at the Bar and watched the Olympics. I had the Chilaquiles but that was only because I had the Eggs Benedict the day before at another restaurant. Chilaquiles had a great spicy flavor (not to much but enough) I asked for my eggs over easy and they came as I wished for. I had a side of the deep fried grits, it is the vessel the Eggs Benedict is served on, they didn't have a lot of flavor and I couldn't taste the cheese in them so I dropped it into my Chilaquiles bowl LMAO!!
The Guava mimosa was refreshing. Kelly cared for me nicely as I sat at the bar by myself I watched as she made small talk with me and took care of other guests needs and kept on top of the servers orders.
Atmosphere in here is so nice and relaxing I would definitely recommend a return... it was a overcast 73 degree day - which after coming from the IE (107 + degrees) it was welcomed.

"I’m only gonna really talk about the food, the server was decent. The chicken and waffles is basically frozen chicken and the waffles are giving the same quality of frozen. The taste was bland, the syrup was taste less and hot sauce was good.even the smell of the chicken when it first arrived was bringing me back to middle school cafeteria frozen re heated chicken smell. It’s chicken cutlet not thigh or drum like I expected so it’s not fresh battered chicken. And the waffles claimed to be cinnamon but i didn’t get a glimpse of the spice.
If you’re just hungry in the morning and need a lil bite then eat eat eat but otherwise I don’t recommend this dish tbh."

Beneath Open Skies: Hermosa Beach has been behind the curve when it comes to approving new outdoor dining spaces, but things are changing. Upper Pier has been transformed in a way that is quite attractive, and umbrellas and pop-up shade canopies are beginning to sprout on Hermosa Avenue. I have been told that there are over 35 applicants for outdoor dining spaces, which will be a lifeline for restaurants, but if even half are approved it is going to cut the amount of parking.
