"I went here on my lunch break. Both the cook and server was nice with taking my order and getting my food out to me quickly. I ordered the catfish sub & the bbq wings with Mac n cheese. Will be returning soon and letting others know about this place. It is not a dine in spot only pick up."

"This was my first time at Big Herm’s and I will be back whenever I’m craving soul food. They’re one of the few places open on Monday’s which is a nice perk and the food is great for the most part. I ordered the variety basket with mac and cheese,collard greens, and mashed sweet potatoes. Everything was so good I’d taken a couple bites before I remembered to snap a picture. The cornbread was so sweet and buttery and the Mac and cheese was baked really well. The greens were a little heavy on the vinegar which I don’t mind but if you don’t like vinegar don’t go with these. I also ordered the wings which were on a special today and they weren’t my favorite. The Buffalo sauce wasn’t the traditional taste I was expecting, but they were still okay as long as you don’t go in with that expectation. I placed my order and had my food in about 20 minutes. Overall, great experience!"

"I found this place while looking for lunch on the way home.... and it was good! I ordered the wing basket. The food was served hot! This is a take out place, so ask for extra napkins if you're eating in the car! I couldn't eat the macaroni because there was too much oil in it, but other than that, I enjoyed my meal! Customer service was top notch!"
