"So after a quick search in a FB group last night for best croissant and Sub Rosa bakery seemed to be the top suggestion. All the reviews talked about how long people wait in line but figured with weather as bad as it was this morning I'd give it a shot.
Got there at 745 and there was already somebody outside waiting in the pouring rain and then more and more people started getting out of the parked cars to wait for the 8 o'clock opening (figured that's gotta be a good sign)
Have to say all of you that suggested Sub Rosa Bakery weren't wrong. Not sure what those things we were eating before were but they weren't croissants 😂
we got plain, almond, chocolate and then based off recommendation of guy behind me in line grabbed a seasonal pastry (squash and pesto) and a cherry pistachio pastry

I had pistachio cherry croissant and bread pudding and decide to eat croissant in place and pudding for to-go, and it was a very good choice."
