Reviews Summary

The St. Paul Grill is lauded for its classic American cuisine, particularly its steaks and seafood, and its exceptional bar program with creative bartenders. While many praise the impeccable service and charming atmosphere, some reviewers have noted issues with steak quality and inconsistent service during busy periods, leading to a mixed experience for a special occasion.

"Loved our experience here! We sat at the bar and had a great time. Bartenders were amazing (shout out Wes!). Food and drinks were great. I originally ordered a vodka martini and the bartender jokingly gave me grief for it, turned into a fun adventure of trying amazing gin drinks. It’s fun to go somewhere and have a bartender surprise you with a drink (especially when they turn out amazing).

We had the Ahi Tuna and the Blackened Beef. Both A+ great apps."

Stefanie Jones

"The liquor selection at the Saint Paul is simply unsurpassed. For fun we tried to think of a bottle that they didn't have, without success. Prices are what you may expect from an upper echelon establishment.

The bartenders are masters of their trade and are cognizant of their surroundings at all times. Don't have to worry about getting their attention when your drink runs low.

Our drinks were great and the waitress was phenomenal. She basically ran her entire shift, but she was compensated well. Surprisingly, the best of the food were the onion rings. Crazy large and delicious, the best any of our group had ever tasted."

Michael Henline

"We were visiting for a work trip and had our team dinner here (reservation). What an amazing experience, to say the least. They have top tier staff - our server (of 38 years) was personable, kind, and very knowledgeable. I ordered the onion rings (hand battered, rich goldness), medium well pork chops, and asparagus. Although I have sparse history at such a level of establishment, the pork chops were transcendent - the flavor of the glaze melded with the apple relish and walnuts was written for this tender, locally farmed double bone chop: it had the perfect level of fat and final resting time.

"Compliments to the Chef" doesn't come close to portraying this experience...so instead, that first bite view was likely worth a thousand words. Thank you to all."
