Reviewers praise the inventive flavors, high-quality ingredients, and attentive service, making it a standout destination for foodies. "Clementine is one of the best restaurants in San Antonio. A small and intimate restaurant committed to culinary innovation and customer satisfaction; whether it's Chef John personally greeting guests, the wait staff pulling strings to get off-menu items, or the host doing everything possible to seat customers who arrive without reservations. Be adventurous when ordering as you'll likely experience new flavors and innovative food combinations that will delight your palate. Highlights include roasted blackjack oysters, all their fresh pastas, flat iron steak, tropical pavlova, and clementine crunch bar. So good I visited twice in a week."

"Flavor: A
Service: A
Tea: A
Solo dining: B
The “Feed Me” dinner is the only way to go, especially for your first time. But I don’t know how you would choose something else after you’ve had it. You’d surely leave a little empty inside. (Belly and soul.) It’s a unique dining experience where variety abounds in the multitude of courses. I personally thought that the salads and pastas were the stars of the show. The protein/entree was underwhelming and not on par with the rest of the meal. I could drink the blueberry tea by the gallon. The service is what you would expect at a fine dining establishment, and Clementine is the special blend of relaxed and casual fine dining. Treat yourself to the “Feed Me” when you’re up for a rainbow of flavors in a mystery of a meal that comes together strong."

"Everything at Clementine was excellent and on point…food, service, and ambience. We got the Feed Me prix fixe menu for $88. It had six courses, including dessert, plus some lagniappe. Well worth the cost. This menu changes daily. Our server, Jason, was friendly, and quite knowledgeable. All staff seemed to be well trained. The restaurant is at the end of a strip center and has indoor and outdoor seating. It has a cute, chic, lively atmosphere. I highly recommend a visit to Clementine. Also, reservations are a good idea. It got busy very quickly."
